The Latournerie Lake is 11-hectare wide. There is a narrower channel of about 50 metres to its South-East end which is favourable to edge-fishing. The average depth of the lake is 3 metres and it contains 6-metre-deep pits.
The bottom is occupied by beautiful herbarium which growth is regulated by some carpes amour.
Rainbow trouts : wonderful, feisty fish. Their average size is 50 cm, but there often are 60 or 80-cm specimens. The 2011 record is a 88-cm and 5,2-kg trout.
Black bass : they reproduce naturally in the lake. Most of them are little, but one can sometimes happen to fish beautiful specimens over 1 kg.
You can either fish from the shore, or in a fishing boat (one or two fishermen per boat).
6 motor boats are available on request. A pier permits to get to the fishing boats safely. Every fisherman is provided with a life jacket.
The maximum number of fishermen is 12. Therefore it is obligatory to book.
During the fishing season, the lake is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (apart from extended weekends and public holidays).
